Alaska Quicksilver Summit 2010
October 27 - 28, 2010
Alyeska Resort, Girdwood, AK

Interested in mercury? Curious about the safety of Alaska’s natural food sources? Wondering what’s being done about mercury levels? Then you should attend the Alaska Quicksilver Summit scheduled for October 27th-28th at the Alyeska Hotel in Girdwood, Alaska.

Stakeholders have been working for two years to develop a contaminant monitoring strategy for Alaska. This event wraps up the process to better understand mercury in our environment. We have several facilitated discussions planned on mercury sources, how it changes in the Alaskan environment, the effect on animals and humans, industrial control technologies, and other intriguing topics.
This event is being hosted by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the University of Alaska, and Alaska Native Tribal Health Association and the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services.
Thank you for your support and we hope to see you at the conference!!
