Dear Brothers,

Welcome to the New Canaan Society 2013 Washington Weekend! We are thrilled to be returning to our nation’s capital, Washington D.C. for the second year as we celebrate our 15th annual gathering on the East Coast.
The Weekend will be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in the convenient and attractive northwest section of the District on April 26-28, 2013 to continue our traditions of excellent teaching, amazing worship, great NCS humor and the wonderful fellowship found in reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones.

NCS is a connected network of men who are called to be a faithful presence in every sphere of life – our marriages, our families, the marketplace and our communities. In Energy Groups, Chapters, within affiliated groups of men and across the network, we are connected by authentic friendship and are called to live in community with one another as lives are transformed and God is revealed to the rest of the world.

The theme for this year's Washington Weekend is
"It's All About Me" ...

"NCS is doing it again, meddling with comfortable Christianity by calling us to the joy of compelling Christianity. The more clearly we see Jesus, the more gladly compelled we’ll be to reveal Him to others. Loving well. It’s no easy track, but it’s the challenge NCS has accepted."
  Larry Crabb
"Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” John 17:25-26

We invite and encourage you to join us in April in Washington with our renowned speakers Larry Crabb, author, speaker and Founder of NewWay Ministries, and N.T. (Tom) Wright, currently Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at the University of St Andrews, Scotland and previously Bishop of Durham in the Church of England. We are excited to bring back the NCS Band, led by Dave Edwards, Worship and Arts Leader at Trinity Church in Greenwich, Connecticut, and we are grateful for the spiritual leadership of Dudley Hall, our very own Eric Metaxas as emcee and much, much more.
Thank you for your friendship and your partnership. We look forward to seeing you in Washington, D.C. in April!
