Integrated Systems Health Management (ISHM) Conference 2011
You are invited to attend the 2011 Integrated Systems Health Management (ISHM) Conference on 19-20-21 July 2011 at the Omni Parker House in Boston, Massachusetts. The ISHM Conference is a forum with a program designed to address the technical requirements of health management to meet the goals of the Department of Defense and other end users. This year’s ISHM Conference is an Air Force Research Laboratory sponsored event, with AFRL’s Air Vehicles Directorate serving as the lead sponsor. THERE IS NO REGISTRATION FEE.
The health management community has been primarily rooted in developing methodologies to enable a more efficient and effective maintenance practice. While this is certainly one aspect of health management, there are others that are also of great interest. Health (capability) management is useful for real-time performance assessment and adaptation for enabling robust contingency management to ensure mission completion. Many applications within the department of defense (DoD) and other government agencies could benefit from improved health (capability) awareness during operations. Some of these applications include, but are not limited to, unmanned/remotely operated vehicles, cyberspace security and human health monitoring. The purpose of the Integrated Systems Health Management (ISHM) conference is to exploit the full potential of ISHM technologies, specifically from an operational and performance perspective, and facilitate the development, maturation and successful transitioning of it to the end users. In addition, this forum will be used to establish long-term partnerships and collaboration among government agencies and industry for developing a national strategic plan to reduce the amount of duplication within the ISHM community and to enhance the leveraging of this technology.
This Conference is restricted to US CITIZENS ONLY and is ITAR Restricted in accordance with DoD directive 5230.5 under the provisions of Public Law 98-94. “Department of Defense Authorization Act, 1984” Section 1217, Sept 24, 1983. This conference is not open to the general public.
