Cengage Learning
Computing Conference 2015
March 18 – 20, 2015
Sheraton Phoenix Downtown
340 N 3rd St.
Phoenix, AZ

Cengage Learning’s Computing Conference is our annual two-and-a-half-day professional development event designed for all Computing educators – encompassing course topics from the MS Office suite to advanced topics in Information Security.  For our 20th year, attendees will experience the latest in technology trends, join the discussion on the latest tools from major providers like Microsoft and Adobe, network with colleagues, share best teaching practices, and join Cengage Learning in our collective mission to engage today’s learners.

The Conference is designed for educators, Deans, Directors and Administrators of Intro Computing and instructors in the Creative & Technical Computing disciplines of Information Security, Desktop Support, Networking, Programming, and Media Arts & Design.

Past attendees told us they wanted additional time to network, new opportunities to share ideas having an impact on education and more opportunities to share feedback with Cengage Learning staff and executives. We got the message and added a new session type to our agenda – the Unconference session!  Choose from 8 topics chosen from past attendee feedback and with an eye toward the future of computing education. For the past 20 years, we’ve gathered together to help shape that future!

Remember monochrome screens and dot matrix printers? The screech of that 14.4K Megahertz modem (with XJACK!) connecting to CompuServe? Clippy the office assistant and floppy disks? We’ll be sharing some of our favorite memories and old school flashbacks of computing– follow us on Facebook and Twitter to share in the fun-- and we encourage you to post your own throwbacks using the hashtag #20YrsComputing.

For this, our 20th annual conference, we hope you’ll join us in Phoenix to learn, engage, and celebrate!
