ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILTY IN
CHANGING TIMES AND CLIMATE
The main purpose of this conference is to provide an opportunity for tribal organizations to build capacity so that they can formulate solutions to the environmental challenges faced in rural Alaskan communities. A secondary goal of ATCEM is for tribal members to meet and build relationships with state and federal environmental agencies and with one another. Most importantly, the conference serves as a way to provide an atmosphere of appreciation to all the Tribal environmental staff that dedicate their time to improving the wellness of our communities.
