PortfolioStat, first introduced by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in March 2012, is a tool for agencies to assess their IT portfolios to identify duplicative programs, systems, and resources. The comprehensive tool, which will be re-evaluated annually to adapt to budget and technology changes, identified more than $2.5 billion in potential IT savings in its first year. In its second year, PortfolioStat 2.0 will incorporate best practices, integrate the Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative (FDCCI) and streamline agency reporting requirements.

Join AFCEA Bethesda and top agency officials May 22, 2013 at the Bethesda North Marriott and Conference Center to discuss how PortfolioStat 2.0 further empowers agency IT leadership, strengthens technology portfolio governance and advances service delivery.
Attendees will learn:
  • Specific deadlines surrounding the three phases of PortfolioStat 2.0
  • How agencies are procuring IT “as-a-service” to reduce duplication
  • How the OMB plans to consolidate agency reporting into three primary collection channels
  • The integration of PortfolioStat 2.0 and the FDCCI
