Faced with decreasing budgets and increasing data, law enforcement agencies are finding ways to consolidate data and processes to better meet the needs of the mission. In recent years, these agencies have seen significant headway with real-time information sharing and the new mobile environment – but there is still much to do, and challenges in big data, cloud computing and agile development prevail. As budget cuts continue, law enforcement agencies and officials will need to innovate and collaborate to advance law enforcement best practices and efficiently track down criminals, keeping citizens safe.
AFCEA Bethesda invites you to the 6th Annual Law Enforcement IT Day at the Bethesda North Marriott and Conference Center for a look at how law enforcement agencies are innovating with IT to collaborate more efficiently, better meet mission needs and address budgetary concerns. The event will bring together more than 400 senior government leaders and IT professionals across industry and Federal agencies such as DOJ, DHS, State, Treasury and DOD to foster better communications, share lessons learned and best practices, and identify mission-critical IT issues. It will focus on federal initiatives and programs that harness current and emerging technologies to better protect and improve the safety and security of U.S. citizens.
