In the context of patent enforcement, Bob Matthews will analyze the impact of being a non-practicing entity on the patentee's ability to:
  • Recover lost-profit damages
  • Obtain injunctive relief in the courts or ITC
  • Resist a stay pending re-examination
  • Resist a transfer of venue
About Bob Matthews:
Author of Annotated Patent Digest and Patent Jury Instruction Handbook, and having almost two decades of legal experience in the patent field, Mr. Matthews brings to his consulting engagements an extensive breadth of knowledge and understanding of the intricacies and complexities of U.S. patent law and the substantive and procedural aspects of litigating patent disputes in U.S. courts.
