Progress and Next Steps

Please join union members and leaders, AFL-CIO constituency groups and AFL-CIO Convention delegates to discuss diversity and full participation in the labor movement. Participants also will get a report about the progress made since Diversity Resolution #2 was adopted at the 2005 AFL-CIO Convention.

 

At the National Summit on Diversity II, being held immediately prior to the 2009 AFL-CIO Convention, we will learn about a new resolution to build on the gains of Resolution #2. The new resolution will be considered by delegates to the Convention.

 

Please register and join us at the summit. Share this information with your fellow union members—the more members that participate, the stronger our labor movement will be.
